Try out a number of activities from dog agility to flyball under the direction of qualified and experienced instructors who will help you get the best from your dog.
Lee Gibson is regarded as one of the country’s top agility handlers and trainers. With over 12 years experience of competing and training at the highest level of agility, it is no surprise that handlers travel from all over the country to train with Lee. Set in the stunning surroundings of the South Shropshire Hills, just south of Shrewsbury, Lee Gibson conducts comprehensive agility training for beginners through to advanced level (Grade7).
Ceri Jones began training 23 years ago. A founding member of the first ever junior flyball team, she currently teaches agility, obedience, flyball and basic heel work to music.
Lynn Aitkin, an experienced qualified osteopath and holistic healer, will demonstrate a wide range of massaging techniques that are designed to help you to de-stress and relax your dog.
Lynn will explain how each technique works and will give an in-sight into developing a ‘healing touch’ which will help you to bond with your dog.
After an introduction to your dog’s muscle and skeletal form, Lynn demonstrates the Swedish massage, a kneading massage and an invigorating, buffing massage technique (my dog, Herbie’s personal favourite!!!) All dogs will attend the session and each one receives individual attention to ensure the correct technique is mastered.
We also use Carole Thornley (APDT) for scent trail work, flyball and rally O.
Janet Jones provides obedience instruction and fun and games on some of the breaks.
