I have been involved with dogs for many years having owned a very large boarding kennels/ cattery, grooming parlour and pet food
outlet.
I have also owned various breeds of dogs from Yorkshire Terriers, English Setters, West Highland White Terriers and Shetland
Sheepdogs, some of them being successful in the Breed ring. I first got involved with Obedience training with Shetland Sheepdogs
about 30 years ago and progressed to becoming an instructor. I started my own Dog Training Club 25 years ago and it is still
a very flourishing club where we offer pet training, Kennel Club Good Citizens training and testing, competitive training
and Flyball training.

I have competed in obedience with several dogs for about 26 years, my present dog; Codi is 4 years old and regularly competes in
both obedience and agility and also takes part in Flyball. He has also taken part in heelwork to music at Crufts with his
father Fyz and brother Tekcyn handled by a couple of our club juniors.
I am an associate member of the Kennel Club, an Obedience judge and Kennel Club Accredited Instructor, Obedience and Companion Dog Advanced.
I have stewarded for my daughter when she judged at Crufts and also taken part in a KCGCDS Puppy demonstration team at Crufts.
I enjoy instructing and regularly attend Instructor courses which I have been doing for the past 25 years progressing from
being student to team leader to now being an assessor for prospective instructors on a Pet Dog Training Instructors course.
